—Industry’s Highest Honor Extended to Innovative Leaders—
DALLAS – January 20, 2018 – Dallas Market Center, the largest and most successful open-daily home décor marketplace in the country, and ART, the Creative Home Furnishings Network, announced the recipients of the 29th Annual ARTS Awards during a gala event held Friday, January 19 at the Hilton Anatole hotel and attended by more than 650 guests. The ARTS Awards is the premier international awards program for the home industry honoring manufacturers, retailers, designers, and sales representatives and is held each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
“Congratulations to this year’s ARTS Awards recipients who are quite simply the best of the best,” Cindy Morris president and CEO of Dallas Market Center said. “This program is a year-round initiative to identify and then recognize individuals and companies for their innovation and hard work, and we applaud this year’s amazing honorees.”
At this year’s ARTS Awards eighteen industry leaders, style experts, and celebrity designers presented the awards. Guest presenters included Beatriz Ball, Julia Buckingham, Corey Damon Jenkins, Donna Moss, Greg O’Neal, Tamara Day, and Nancy Price. Also in attendance were the ARTS Awards judges, the ARTS Awards committee members from ART, and members of the ARTS Awards nominating panel.

January 15, 2018 – Charlotte, NC / High Point, NC – Registration is now open for the second combined conference of ART + IDS taking place in Savannah, GA at The DeSoto on April 30 – May 2, 2018. This unique collaboration encourages interior designers, manufactures, importers, retailers, product designers and industry professionals to connect outside of trade shows for better business relationships.
This year’s program includes general session speakers and industry panel discussions as well as education tracks focused on each organization’s primary interests. This year’s joint community service project will benefit the Chatham County/ Savannah Homeless Authority serving veterans, homeless families and children.
Registration for ART and IDS members is $475. Non-members and industry suppliers are encouraged to attend for a price of $625. Registration includes:

—Humanitarian Award to be presented to Gulf Coast non-profit—
DALLAS / CHARLOTTE – January 8, 2018 – Dallas Market Center, the largest and most successful open-daily home décor marketplace in the country, and ART, the Creative Home Furnishings Network, today announced that the Houston Furniture Bank will receive a Humanitarian Award at the 29th Annual ARTS Awards.
The Houston Furniture Bank, a non-profit organization and provider of home furnishings to individuals and families, is celebrating twenty-five years of service to the Houston area. In 2017, the organization served more than 1,000 families in regular service and more than 1,800 families after Hurricane Harvey.
“Over the past twenty-five years, the Houston Furniture Bank has been a force of good for the entire region, helping more than 26,000 families,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Their programs helping children have been especially successful and have ensured that the youngest members of the community live and sleep in comfort. Following the devastation of the recent hurricane, the Houston Furniture Bank went above and beyond to serve up to 70 families a day in order to help rebuild homes in the Houston area. We congratulate their team, we recognize their importance to the community, and we honor the difference they make in the lives of families.”

DALLAS/CHARLOTTE – October 23, 2017 – Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, announced reservations are now open for the premier event honoring home industry excellence, the 29th annual ARTS Awards.
“We are anticipating hundreds in attendance and extend the invitation to countless others wanting to experience this inspiring ARTS Awards gala,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The gala celebration is a one-of-a-kind event commemorating the home industry and its leaders.”
The ARTS Awards, presented annually in January during Total Home & Gift Market, acknowledges preeminent manufacturers, retailers, interior designers, products designers, and sales representatives in up to 27 categories.
The black-tie gala event will be at the Hilton Anatole Hotel Friday, January 19, 2018. After a nomination and judging process guided by a panel of independent industry experts, the category winners will be announced. In addition, the special Academy of Achievement Award will be presented to the phenomenal Randy Eller.
