Justin Shaulis named Brand Ambassador for Howard Elliott

Justin ShaulisHoward Elliott Collection, Inc., a designer, manufacturer, and importer of decorative mirrors, accessories, accent furniture and decorative pillows, has entered into an agreement with New York City based Design Consultant, Justin Shaulis to serve as Howard Elliott’s Design Ambassador. Shaulis is best known for his high profile residential design installations from Los Angeles to London as well as hosting the television show Home Rules on HGTV.

Shaulis will consult and work alongside Howard Elliott’s marketing and product development teams to further develop products and engagement with the Designer distribution channel. Shaulis will be responsible for enhancements to Howard Elliott’s catalog, website, social media content, marketing campaigns and overall public relations to the Design Trade.

29th ARTS Awards Winners Announced

DALLAS – January 20, 2018 – Dallas Market Center, the largest and most successful open-daily home décor marketplace in the country, and ART, the Creative Home Furnishings Network, announced the recipients of the 29th Annual ARTS Awards during a gala event held Friday, January 19 at the Hilton Anatole hotel and attended by more than 650 guests. The ARTS Awards is the premier international awards program for the home industry honoring manufacturers, retailers, designers, and sales representatives and is held each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.

January 15, 2018 – Charlotte, NC / High Point, NC – Registration is now open for the second combined conference of ART + IDS taking place in Savannah, GA at The DeSoto on April 30 – May 2, 2018. This unique collaboration encourages interior designers, manufactures, importers, retailers, product designers and industry professionals to connect outside of trade shows for better business relationships.

This year’s program includes general session speakers and industry panel discussions as well as education tracks focused on each organization’s primary interests. This year’s joint community service project will benefit the Chatham County/ Savannah Homeless Authority serving veterans, homeless families and children.

The Houston Furniture Bank, a non-profit organization and provider of home furnishings to individuals and families, is celebrating twenty-five years of service to the Houston area. In 2017, the organization served more than 1,000 families in regular service and more than 1,800 families after Hurricane Harvey.

“Over the past twenty-five years, the Houston Furniture Bank has been a force of good for the entire region, helping more than 26,000 families,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Their programs helping children have been especially successful and have ensured that the youngest members of the community live and sleep in comfort.
