Residential interior designers and professionals from the home furnishings industry will work together to improve the interiors of the facility, creating home-like spaces for residents. The goal of the project is to complete a total of 132 rooms as well as a lobby, community room, recreation room, and other common rooms. The work day for this project is Saturday, May 19th during conference.

Grand Veterans Village, one of eight US Vets housing facilities in the United States, was founded in 2003 to house homeless, low-income and disabled veterans in Phoenix, Arizona. The greater organization, US Vets, was founded in 1992 in Los Angeles, California to meet the needs of their homeless veteran population. US Vets strives for all veterans and their families to have their needs met to regain and maintain productive independence. The successful transition of military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support is their mission.
